1. Introduction

Welcome to Dilli House. We create small-batch, artisanal fragrances crafted with care and intention.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") guide your use of the Dilli House website (the "Site") and the purchase of our products. By using our Site and placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms. We believe in clarity and simplicity, so please read them carefully.

Dilli House Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") is registered in England and Wales with company number 15899845. Our registered office is at 5-7 Buck Street, Camden Collective, London, England, NW1 8NJ.

We may update these Terms occasionally. Please check this page when you visit to ensure you understand the Terms that apply. If we make changes that materially affect an existing order, we will contact you directly.

2. Our Contract with You

2.1. When you place an order on our Site, this represents your offer to purchase our products.

2.2. We will send you an email acknowledging receipt of your order. A legally binding contract between you and Dilli House is formed only when we send a subsequent email confirming that your order has been accepted and dispatched.

2.3. We reserve the right not to accept an order. This might occur if:

  • The product is unexpectedly out of stock due to our small-batch nature.

  • We identify an error in the product description or pricing.

  • We are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment.

  • We have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity.

If we cannot accept your order, we will inform you and will not charge you for the product.

2.4. We take great care to ensure the images on our Site accurately represent our products. However, we cannot guarantee that your device's display will perfectly reflect the true colour of the products or packaging.

3. Price and Payment

3.1. All prices on our Site are listed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP).

3.2. We believe in transparent, all-inclusive pricing. For deliveries to both the UK and the European Union (EU), the product price you see includes all applicable VAT, taxes, and import duties.

3.3. Prices may change, but changes will not affect orders we have already confirmed. We recommend checking the product and pricing sections of our Site for the most current information.

3.4. Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. We accept major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, Shop Pay, and other payment methods indicated during the checkout process.

3.5. By placing an order, you confirm that the payment details provided are valid, correct, and that you are authorised to use them.

4. Delivery

4.1. We currently ship exclusively to the United Kingdom (UK) and the European Union (EU).

4.2. UK Delivery: We offer complimentary standard delivery for all orders within the UK.

4.3. EU Delivery: Shipping charges for EU destinations apply and will be calculated during checkout. The total amount paid at checkout (product price plus shipping charge) covers all costs, including shipping, taxes, and duties, ensuring a seamless delivery with no additional fees upon arrival.

4.4. We aim to deliver products within the timeframe estimated at checkout. However, delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

4.5. Delivery is completed when the products are delivered to the address you provided. The products become your responsibility from that moment.

4.6. If delivery cannot be completed (e.g., if no one is available to receive the package), our delivery partner will leave instructions on how to rearrange delivery or collect your order.

5. Artisanal Production

5.1. At Dilli House, we focus on craftsmanship over quantity. Our products, including 'Prem Rouge' Eau de Peau, are produced in limited, small batches.

5.2. Each batch is unique, reflecting the artisanal nature of our process. Production quantities are fixed, and bottles are often numbered.

5.3. Whilst we are moving towards immediate availability, the nature of small-batch production means products may sell out. Occasionally, we may offer products on a pre-order basis before a new batch is completed. If this occurs, payment will be taken at the time of the order to secure your product, and we will provide an estimated delivery date.

6. Returns and Refunds

We hope you cherish your Dilli House product. However, if you change your mind, we offer a straightforward returns process.

6.1. Right to Cancel: You have the legal right to cancel your contract within 14 days of receiving the products, without giving a reason.

6.2. How to Cancel: To cancel, please inform us by a clear statement (e.g., an email to hello@dillihouse.com).

6.3. Returning the Product: If you cancel, you must return the products to us within 14 days of informing us of your decision. You will be responsible for the cost of return postage unless the product is faulty.

6.4. Condition of Returned Products: Due to the intimate nature of our fragrances, returns can only be accepted if the product is in a condition suitable for resale. This means:

  • The product is unused and in its original, undamaged packaging.

  • The inner box seal must remain completely intact.

  • All labels and batch numbers must be unaltered.

We cannot accept returns if the seal is broken or the product has been used, unless it is faulty.

6.5. Refunds: We will reimburse all payments received from you (including initial shipping charges, if applicable) within 14 days of receiving the returned products in satisfactory condition. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.

6.6. Faulty Products: If a product you receive is damaged or faulty, please contact us immediately at hello@dillihouse.com.

7. Product Information

7.1. Our fragrances are crafted using high-quality natural ingredients and innovative, alcohol-free formulations, such as our WPE® (Water-Plant Emulsion) technology.

7.2. We provide detailed descriptions of our products, but scent is personal, and individual skin responses to natural ingredients may vary. We strongly recommend performing a patch test on a small area of skin 24 hours before first use. If irritation occurs, please discontinue use.

7.3. Our products are intended for personal, domestic use only and are not for resale.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. All content on our Site—including the design, text, graphics, logos, images, and the Dilli House name and aesthetic—is the property of Dilli House Ltd or our licensors. This content is protected by international copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8.2. Our unique formulations, including our perfume formulas, manufacturing processes, and the proprietary application of WPE® technology, constitute valuable trade secrets and confidential information of Dilli House Ltd.

8.3. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to replicate, reverse engineer, analyse, or otherwise determine the composition or manufacturing process of our products.

  • Create or attempt to create any products that imitate or are substantially similar to our products.

  • Use our trademarks, logos, product names (e.g., 'Prem Rouge'), or trade dress without our prior written consent.

8.4. Any breach of these intellectual property provisions may result in legal action to protect our innovations.

9. Our Liability

9.1. We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or our failing to use reasonable care and skill.

9.2. We do not exclude or limit our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products (including the right to receive products which are as described and of satisfactory quality).

9.3. We only supply the products for domestic and private use. If you use the products for any commercial, business, or resale purpose, we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. We handle your personal data with transparency and care, in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our Site. 

11.  Events Outside Our Control

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control.

12.  Other Important Terms

12.1. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. We will notify you in writing if this happens and ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under the contract.

12.2. This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.

12.3. Each of the paragraphs of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

13.  Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law. You agree that the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
