Our Story

Rebirth

In February 2022, life threw Arpit Kaushik a challenge no one could prepare for. A cycling accident changed everything. Statistically, he shouldn’t have survived. But he did. And when you’ve beaten the odds like that, you see life differently. What matters becomes clearer. What doesn’t fades away.

Born in Delhi, Arpit grew up surrounded by the vibrancy of Indian culture. Later, he fell in love with the understated elegance of Western design. After the accident, with time to reflect and a heightened sense of the world around him, he realised he wanted to build something meaningful. Something real. Unable to use alcohol—the backbone of traditional perfumes—he re-imagined fragrance entirely, creating non-alcoholic scents that celebrate life’s simple, essential moments.

In the Summer of 2024, Dilli House was born. Dilli honours his roots. House is the space where ideas grow into something that lasts. More than fragrance—we’re about everything for the senses. Built on resilience, shaped by renewal, and made with care, Dilli House is a reminder to live fully, appreciate deeply, and create with purpose.

“Life knocked me down. Each day I'm discovering beauty in slow, gentle moments. I'm a work in progress. Dilli House began with my story, but our creations tell their own.”

Our Mission

We make things that matter, awaken the senses and enrich daily life—crafted in harmony with head and heart from the East and West. Each piece is a blend of timeless wisdom and meticulous craftsmanship, honouring the well-being of people and respect for the planet. Everything we do is a story, a feeling, something you can hold onto.

The Future

Our Vision

To be a brand that people come back to, not just for what we make, but for what we stand for. A place where quality and purpose meet. We want to enrich lives, one thoughtful choice at a time, with products that bring a little more depth, a little more joy, a little more meaning to everyday moments.
