Our first product, Prem Rouge, is alcohol-free, 100% natural perfume designed from the ground up as a layerable duo.
Arpit Kaushik is the founder of Dilli House. A cycling accident in 2022 and a neurologist's instruction to avoid alcohol entirely led him to create what he could not find: a high-quality alcohol-free perfume. He developed Prem Rouge alongside master perfumers Patty Canac and Clémentine Humeau. A published poet with a background in operations, he is the author of The Living Scent, a ten-chapter guide to the history and science of fragrance layering. Based in London. Born in Delhi.

03. Material choices, against industry default
The default in fragrance packaging is fast and cheap. Dilli House chose otherwise on each component: recyclable screw-on glass, aluminium-shelled spray pumps, sample sachets in a recyclable pouch with a biodegradable insert, FSC-certified outer packaging.
