ABOUT US

Perfume without alcohol

Dilli House is an independent fragrance house in London, founded by Arpit Kaushik. It works in small batches, guided by the five senses, and begins with scent.

After a cycling accident in 2022, Kaushik's neurologist said no alcohol. Almost every perfume is 70 to 90 per cent alcohol, so he set out to make the alcohol-free one he could not find.

Its first release, Prem Rouge, is an alcohol-free, 100% natural perfume designed to be layered: a rose and a tuberose, each complete on its own and different together. Both were composed by master perfumers Clémentine Humeau and Patty Canac. The fragrances are water-based rather than alcohol-based, using Water Plant Emulsion (WPE®) technology.

Made in Britain. Formulated in France. Certified B Corporation™. Crafted to enrich.

What the industry says

Voices of industry

“Dilli House represents a growing movement towards intentional luxury. The future of perfumery may lie in rethinking the process entirely.”

THE FRAGRANCE FOUNDATION UK · INDUSTRY ENDORSEMENT

“The Prem Rouge concept of anchoring one fragrance with another separates this from the established idea of simply layering. This is integrated fragrance design.”
