The Master Perfumer Session: Why Prem Rouge?

In our first instalment of The Master Perfumer Session, we sit down with master perfumers Patty Canac and Clémentine Humeau to discover what drew them to create Prem Rouge, our debut fragrance.

The Allure of Exploration

"It's an extremely unique project," Clémentine begins, her eyes lighting up as she talks about Prem Rouge.

For both Patty and Clémentine, perfumery is about discovery. "We're explorers," Clémentine says simply. "We love to explore. And the Prem Rouge project? It's pure exploration."

The Beauty of Natural

What drew them in was our focus on natural ingredients. "Everything centered on naturalness," Clémentine explains. "That really spoke to us."

The chance to work with two legendary flowers - rose and tuberose - presented a creative challenge they couldn't resist.

Icons of Fragrance

In fine perfumery, these flowers are royalty. "When you love perfumes, you know these names," Clémentine reflects. "Rose and tuberose. They're icons."

But this wasn't about repeating what's been done before. It was about finding something new within the familiar.

"I explored new facets of both flowers," she shares. "Looking for fresh expressions of these timeless scents."
